Again, our class has great career news to share. Sandy Ogg was recently named chief human resources officer for Unilever and John Heiser joined Bausch & Lomb Inc. as director, vitreoretinal products. Dan McCarthy became managing partner and one of two principals for Bradford Settlement Co., an investment firm that works with plaintiff attorneys and their clients to invest large settlement proceeds. Dan has also opened up his own law firm. Randy Kellogg and Michelle Misialek are now working together at Omron Healthcare Inc. and Anthony Boles has started his own management consulting firm, Intelligent Ventures Inc., which focuses on delivering business intelligence and data warehousing solutions, primarily around financial functions.

Congratulations to Gulrukhsar and Zul Jiwani on the birth of their third child, Asheer Shan. Asheer was born May 6 and was welcomed by his sister Sameen and brother Kaamil.

Study group "sightings" included a Bravo Group get-together to celebrate a significant birthday for Steve Auburn and a Kellogg Alumni Club of Chicago TGIF with Kathleen Finato, Barry Metzger, Zul Jiwani, Steve Auburn and John Toher.

Mary Sheehan has been promoted to chief operating officer at Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of the North Shore. As a member of PCCHNS' management team for more than 10 years, Sheehan has been responsible for operational oversight and leadership of the organization's clinical programs, including hospice and the inpatient hospice unit, HomeCare, Palliative CareCenter for Kids, the medical home visits program and the palliative care consultation program.
