Due
to an editorial oversight, the EMP-40 updates were inadvertently
omitted from the spring issue of Kellogg World. All of the news missed
last time has been included in this issue. We regret the error.
Jan
and John Bell announce a new addition — a 41-foot
Beneteau First 405 sailboat. She was launched at Manitowoc,
Wis., in early May. John invites anyone interested in sailing
to contact him at 312.505.4999. Also, John will be competing
in his fifth Mack race in July. On the professional front,
John is still developing shopping centers on his own under
his new company name, Waypoint Properties. He is actively
involved in the Leukemia Cup Regatta and is on the Chicago
Yacht Club committee that coordinates this annual event for
the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Illinois.

office) has joined Microsoft Corp. as head of HR for the global
Windows server business unit and moved to Redmond, Wash.,
in June. His view from his new office is of the Cascade Mountains.

Siegel and wife Lynn hosted Michelle and Dave Bungum,
Linda and Ben Randazzo, Susan and Rich Daly
and Chris Ksoll for a culinary feast at their home
in May. A wonderful time was had by all, capped by Rich Daly's
launch of a new Fido T-shirt. Very cool shirt, Rich.

president and chief operating officer of Chicago White Metal.

Chris
Ksoll has joined The PrivateBank as managing director
in the new Gold Coast office. It is a bank dedicated to the

is listed above. Chris was a panelist at Kellogg's second
annual Alumni Entrepreneurial Conference, a Professor Steve

exciting and full of resources and networking for entrepreneurs.

Frank
Alampi has officially
become a family business. His wife Karen joined his firm,
Summa Solutions. Frank, his family and firm are all doing
very well.
Judy
Buckley says "hello"
to everyone. She plans to return to Washington, D.C., in August
following a four-year stint in Asia with the U.S. Department
of State. Upon completion of her MBA at Kellogg, she entered
a full-time, two-year Mandarin language program. She is planning
to retire in January and is currently looking for a corporate
security-related position in a major company. A résumé will
