EMP-22

Well, I finally have some news from one of our classmates. Susan Oster writes that she is doing well, still working in the association biz and wanting to make a transition to her next opportunity after four years in her current position. She has moved to a new town home on a lake in an area she absolutely LOVES. She says that it is a joy to stay home and listen to the redwing blackbirds, geese (well, sometimes) and even an occasional coyote. Can this be? A nature lover in our midst?

She also had lunch a couple weeks ago with Eleanor Sweet McDonnell, who is enjoying being a mom the second time around with son Jonathan, now 1, who joins Meredith, 7. She reports she is doing well and successfully balancing home life with her search practice.

She also has seen Marsha Michelson periodically, who she says is enjoying travel with her husband Al, as they camp and see their children and grandchildren!? in various locales.

Bob Lackey also checks in periodically. He is with Comdisco, heading one of its units. He and his family built their dream home in Florida, so his wife and daughter are in Orlando while Bob travels frequently and works from home. She was also hoping to connect for lunch with Ishwar Gupta, Don Roseen and Therese Waldron. Hey, people! Please write and tell your own story. This is not the Enquirer.

An additional sighting finds Leslee Hall Sheedy in Corpus Christi with usdm.net (a travel-related firm). I have her email address if you want to contact her. [Ed. note: Or look up Leslee and your other classmates on the Kellogg Alumni Network at alumni.kellogg.northwestern.edu.]

So where you and what are you doing? Come on! We want to know before we become old timers and you forget. I look forward to hearing from you.

As for me, I am still in Texas and traveling to a city near you. So tell me your story, let me know where you are, and you might get a free meal out of it.

John
