EMP-20
EMP-20's John Powers, Tim Trummer, Bets Lillo and Bob Settles with Kellogg School Dean Emeritus Donald P. Jacobs

EMP-20

EMP-20 — you missed a terrific time at our 15-year reunion! Bob Settles, Tim Trummer, John Powers and Bets Lillo had at least as much fun when they weren't being photographed as when they were. Since John came all the way from Los Angeles, the rest of you will have to dig pretty deep to find credible excuses for not attending.

Vikram Tripathi insists he was in Paris on business travel, but he did volunteer to turn in his part of the assignment in advance as amelioration. Vik is still with USG, so those of you with some industry expertise should advise whether this Paris excuse is credible. Roger Gary is now with Marcal in New Jersey after some interesting roles in both general management and finance. However, after a tough March in St. Maartens he was not able to make it to Chicago in April. Those of you who have difficulty believing that anyone with a holiday home in St. Maartens has it too tough are welcome to contact Roger directly.

George Mitchell was in Orlando (almost as difficult to arouse sympathy for that circumstance) and also unable to make his way to Chicago. That said, the four of us who did get back to Kellogg had a great time touring the Allen Center, seeing Erica Kantor and Dean Emeritus Jacobs, reminiscing and extending Kellogg's marketing reach (some pencils were taken home from the Allen Center). Those of you who are wondering whether the chocolate chip cookies are still just as good as they used to be, whether both Coke and Pepsi are still stocked in the bars and whether the new Kellogg pencils are even better than the old ones should mark your calendars for 2010. We are.
