Luis Morales has been promoted to vice president of corporate development at SimpleTech Inc. In his new role he will oversee SimpleTech's initiatives in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and capital raising. Additionally, he will assist in the development of SimpleTech's strategic partnerships, joint ventures and investment activities related to the company's licensing and branding initiatives. Prior to joining SimpleTech in 2002, Morales worked for Lehman Brothers' investment banking division.

Laura and Chris Doherty happily welcomed their fourth child, Christopher John, on April 14. Sisters Riley (6), and Anna Violet (2), and brother William (4), appreciate the reinforcements in their ongoing campaign to "challenge the current Establishment," Chris reports. He still works for the U.S. Department of Education in Washington, D.C. — his second job since Kellogg. He enjoys his work there very much, though still not as much as staying home with his family, "doing nothing," he writes.
