Joseph Lyu has been elected chairman and CEO of the Bank of Taiwan, the largest bank in Taiwan. He was also appointed board director of the Central Bank of China (Taiwan) in January. Reach him at work at 886.2.2349.3000 or by email at joseph.lyu@mail.bot.com.tw.

It was nice to hear from Anne and Mark Engel with this update: "Mark and I are both doing very well. On the home front, we have four kids now: David, 11; Eliza 9; Jack, 2; and Sam, 5 months. Needless to say, probably like most of us, there is never a dull moment — and I do crave those dull moments. I can't believe how long we've been out of business school (let alone college). Hope we have a good turnout at our next reunion.

"Mark is still COO of Rosco, the leading supplier of theatrical products to the film industry and Broadway. I'm in my consulting/freelancing phase now. I left Pepsi after 10 years, then went agency side for five years and have been consulting for the past year and a half. I'm currently consulting with Pepsi on product innovation projects. I'm hoping that this will give me the flexibility I need and hope to take a good bit of time off during the summer.

"We had the pleasure of seeing Gary Yoshioka three times this year, out in New York from Hawaii for Pepsi meetings. He's doing great. He just bought a house in Hawaii and has two adorable kids, Mia and Reyn. We also see Heather and Frank Grillo often and are currently planning a spring break trip to Washington, D.C. It should be amusing chasing two big kids with two little ones in strollers." (anne.engel@sbcglobal.net or mark@rosco.com)

Gwen Farley Green sent news of this get-together with some classmates in Colorado: "Recently, a bunch of us Kellogg '89 grads — who happened to have all married each other — gathered in Colorado for a fun evening out during all of our 'spring breaks'! Beth (Kroft) and Josh Mondry, Jason Green and Gwen, Brian Hall and Debbie (Decker) Hall; and Mary (Cranor) and Chris Kawula.

"Beth and Josh live in Aspen now, having moved to Colorado in June 2004 from Michigan. The Kawulas also live in Colorado, but closer to Denver, in a town called Evergreen. The Halls live in Highland Park, Ill., and we live in Chicago. We all met in Ashcroft, Colo., (outside of Aspen) to go cross-country skiing into a cabin called the Pine Creek Cookhouse for dinner! After the 1 1/4 mile ski at dusk, we had a wonderful meal, visiting and catching up. After too much great wine, we then cross-country skied out again, all down hill, complete with head lamps! It was a gas and no injuries, thankfully!"
