On April 12, more than 70 alumni participated
in Kellogg's Expert Series, "Washington Careers --- The Market
You Should Know." Held at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a
world-class panel of experts provided insight into careers
in the commercial entities, government sector, nonprofit organizations,
associations and nongovernmental organizations that are all
driving forces behind the local economy. The expert panel
included Eric Vautour, office managing partner for Russell
Reynolds Associates; Mark Steven Bullock, assistant director,
administrative services division, FBI; David Eisner, CEO,
Corporation for National and Community Service; Gren Millard,
a partner with Russell Reynolds Associates; Andrew Bartley
'93, principal investment officer for International Finance
Corp., and Ellen Brereton, chief strategic planning and services
unit, FBI. These senior leaders discussed how MBAs are playing
major roles in their organizations, providing insight on how
to be positioned for executive careers in a market few of
us really know about.
Many thanks to Kim McCaslin '98, Todd
Wincup '01, Beth Gertz '98, Michael Helmicki '01, Andrew Bartley
'93 and Eve Jelstrom '90, who were instrumental in coordinating
this event for alumni and friends.
