The Kellogg Alumni Club of the Philippines
has a lot to celebrate. Alicia Rita Morales-Arroyo '90 was
elected to her second consecutive term as president of the
Philippine Stock Exchange. Cesar A.V. Purisima '83 was appointed
secretary of trade and industry of the Philippines. David
L. Balangue '77 is the new chairman of the SGV Group (Philippine
affiliate of Ernst & Young).
Working with alumni of other top U.S.
business schools, the Philippines club recently organized
a presidential candidates speaker series to help members get
to know and select the best-qualified presidential candidate.
Out in the sun, members are getting
in shape and gearing up for the 2004 B-school Games, where
they will pit their skills against alumni of U.S. B-schools
in golf, badminton, basketball, bowling, volleyball, softball
and flag football.
