Bob
Andersen
reported in during Reunion time. In March 2003, Bob retired
as chairman of the department of surgery at Duke University
Medical Center, relinquishing most of his administrative duties
overseeing some 750 staff members. He's back to taking care
of patients, doing surgery and teaching, including a course
at Fuqua called Medical Devices and Innovation.
Shiro
Okazaki recently helped translate the Kellogg School text
Kellogg on Integrated Marketing into Japanese. Fourteen
alums in Japan spearheaded the project, with publication slated
for October. Shiro remains chief executive officer of Nijio
Co Ltd., a joint venture between Shell and Tokyo Gas.
