TMP
2000
Thanks
to everyone who made it out to our Kellogg Alumni One Year
Reunion Happy Hour at Rock Bottom on May 4! If you didn't
hear about it, that might be because you don't have your alumni
e-mail forwarding address set up. Go to www.kellogg.nwu.edu/alumni/
eservices.htm to set this up and sign up for the TMP Class
of 2000 listserv.
I know
I enjoyed chatting with several of you at Rock Bottom, including
Josh Meyer, John Merriwether, Matt Par, Eric Dustman,
Tres and Elizabeth Roeder. (My apologies
for those who I have missed; it was tough getting all of the
names. Thanks, Tres!)
On with
the updates!
Congratulations
to Daniel Gamota who is leading the team comprised
of Motorola, Dow Chemical, and Xerox that was awarded $15.7
million in seed funding to develop the technology and the
business strategy for plastic integrated circuits. This space
has the potential for a $60 billion market for "things
that think" and will compete with the likes of Intel,
Texas Instruments, and Advanced Micro Devices.
Kate
Doyle Siebert is still a manager at Cisco Systems after
3 1/2 years. She made it through the first (and hopefully
only) layoff Cisco has ever experienced. Kate gave birth to
Mary Grace in October and now enjoys the challenges raising
two children under age 2.
Remember
that by signing up for e-mail forwarding you will get exciting
notices (from yours truly) to submit class updates for Kellogg
World each quarter. Don't forget to sign up!
