We had a great reunion, as nearly 100 classmates could attest. Sorry we missed many of you, but you can block out early May of 2006 for our 15th. Reed Webster acted as scribe for some of the reunion activities, as I was busy chasing two little Sankeys around pool tables and down bowling lanes. Even though Reed had house guests Steve Borst (Salt Lake), Tim Balfe (Denver) and Graham Mitchell (Boca) -- all of whom are doing well -- he did a commendable job.

Here's their report: Kudos to Tom Kalishman for throwing a great dinner Friday night of the reunion. All those who didn't settle up with him please do so! Chicago men off the market: Ty Roberts and Matt Amberson recently married and Jay Lecoque missed reunion by just two months. Tom Kalishman is moving to Miami to start a water front Tommy Bahama bar. We missed Martin Albers and the Mexico gang for the reunion. David Reilly will be moving to London for GSachs banking. Anne Popkin gets the award for best rented wheels at reunion -- a spanking white mustang! Most improved rap: John "Sting" Pfeiffer, still looking for TG. Norm Colbert looking swell as ever running global private equity for JP Morgan Chase from SF and NY. Susan and Mike Devoe are doing well with a growing family, Mike is working at Orbit Commerce in Chicago. Most influential dot-com backer and hacker award goes to Matt McCall. Sam Zales and Webby showed that teaming up on the lanes was to much for the Pergande/Arnold combo but hey who's luckier than Sammy right now? Webby on the other hand is continually trying to provide lifestyle choices for his hard working dot-com friends. Hey, where the heck was Keller?

Sammy Zales also took a stab at providing some reunion notes: "John Pergande is running about 10 companies for his venture firm, including CEO of a major organization in Dallas; three boys and Frasher having fun in Texas, and his bowling game has certainly improved in 10 years; very competitive in the lanes. Tim Balfe wore his own bowling shirt to the event. Need I say more? Scott Freidheim is a bodybuilder in NYC, and does some work for the CEO of Lehman Bros. Milmoe Girgenti is still the nicest person in the world, with three kids in Wilmette. Rob Jiranek, despite having kids and Pam centered in a hotel room at the Omni, spent time partying with Tommy Johns, Eric Edstrom (showed me a pic of his two boys wearing Lederhosen -- very cute) and Jim Young. Rich Chenitz, Dan Patyk, Steve Salera, Jill Albrink, John Mankus were all part of the crew that made Section 63 the most well-represented at reunion. It's been said that this section was the most fun and smartest when they went to Kellogg, and it's still true today, although I don't know who made that claim. Kathy Bresler say she has a wonderful life in Chi-town with Petey, Alex and Abbie; on the hook to plan worldwide Bain reunion. Josh Chernoff reported that he and Julie were hosting cooking classes at home; kids are amazing." (Thanks to you, Sam)

Jay LeCoque re-joined Celis International as the new full-time chief executive officer a few months ago. Jay had previously left Celis to start (with some other Kellogg alums) OurHouse.com. (OurHouse.com is now the No. 1 Internet site focused on the home and one of the top 20 most-visited shopping sites.) Robert Baumann has been in L.A. for six years and lives in Brentwood. He left DaimlerChrysler after almost 9 years in different managerial roles, and they immediately announced huge losses. Rob joined Christie's Auction as vice president, business development, in their Beverly Hills office. As a result, he expects to travel throughout the western U.S. and perhaps surprise old Kellogg alums with a call. Rob met up with Ron Graham in Ron's hometown of Las Vegas, where Ron updated him on his current position as head of operations at a major Vegas exhibit company. They do all the work for the major casino shows and exhibits such as the pirate show at Treasure Island. Rob also runs into Dan Murray in Pasadena on occasion. Dan is currently vice president of finance for a major Internet trading firm catering to the Asian community. Rob's e-mail address is rbaumann@christies.com.

John Funk recently started his second Internet company, Quris (www.quris.com), with funding from Charles Schwab & Co. In addition to birthing Quris, John and his wife Sharlene welcomed a new daughter, Amanda Marie, to the world. The Funks live in Evergreen, Colo. Stephanie (Green) and Andre Crump had twin daughters in March. Their names are Chandler Bliss and Anise Sinclair Crump. Speaking of babies, Ron and Lisa (Markes) Moore had a little girl. Her name is Gianna Marie, and of course she is very cute. They moved to the East Coast from Chicago in August to take new positions with their companies.

Back here in San Francisco this summer, after three years of publishing I transitioned the Bay Area Kellogg Alumni Newsletter (BAYKAN) to new management. Also, Sancha Huang married Bill Norris in May. Andre said he sees Jody Bhagat out in SF from time to time. He was a subject in a photography book published earlier this year. The reason Eric von Coelln did not make reunion was that he and Susan are the proud parents of a baby girl, Kathryn Ione von Coelln, born April 4. They are trying to get used to juggling Kathryn, older brother Karl, and a lack of sleep. Eric left Prodigy in February (they were heading to Texas), and after some time off to help with the kids, he is now doing some consulting for DoubleClick here in the city. William Leonard has been appointed president and CEO of Graphic Technology, Inc. (GTI), a New Century, KS-based unit of Nitto Americas, Inc.

Susan Griswold Herst writes: "Just moved Chapel Hill with my husband, Larry, and three sons (9, 7 and 5 years) Benjamin, Alex and Charles."
