Etienne Veber writes: "After 11 years at Monsanto, I jumped into the Venture Capital world! I am now anequity holder in Merisant, a Chicago-based consumer product company controlled by Pegasus Capital."

John Wood writes: "After 10 years working in the technology industry, I've decided to do something completely different. I am now devoted full-time to running a nonprofit called 'Books for Nepal' that I started in 1998 after a trekking trip. Our organization is dedicated to increasing literacy in a poor country where over half the children are illiterate. We help rural villages build schools, we build libraries and fill them with books, and offer scholarships to children who cannot afford school fees. So far we have built seven schools, shipped over 30,000 books to Nepal, created over 40 libraries and sent 50 children to school for the first time. More information, and a recent photo of me at a school dedication ceremony, can be found at www.booksfornepal.org."
