Stanford writes: "Recently promoted to chairman and
CEO of Mellon West, a Los Angeles-based division of Mellon
Financial Corp., where I oversee nearly 2,000 people and 30
business lines in a 13-state western region. My wife, Carolyn,
and three children will join me in the L.A. area in August.
We plan to settle in Pacific Palisades."
Anne M. Hafer
was named senior vice president at The Northern Trust Company,
Chicago. She is division manager of the commercial real estate
group.
Joe Papa
writes: "Recently moved back to Chester, N.J. after spending
three years at G.D. Searle in Skokie, Ill., where we were
able to spend time with Barb Koral, Paul Bebenek and their
spouses. Our three sons -- Christopher (14), Matthew (12)
and Adam (9) -- keep Nancy and me busy, either coaching or
watching from the sidelines! I left Searle after the Pharmacia
merger and I am enjoying new challenges with DuPont."
