Esther Choy

Esther’s new book, “Let the Story Do the Work,” makes a case for using stories for business success. Esther was delighted that the book was an Amazon bestseller, was chosen as one of the top 10 books for entrepreneurs and garnered praise from “Freakonomics” co-author Stephen J. Dubner. The book even includes a story about her time at Kellogg (see Chapter 8).

Krista and her husband, Carlos, welcomed their son, Rafael Matias, on Oct. 16, 2017.

Aziz Gilani

The Moose ’09 Steak Club enjoyed their 10th annual steak weekend in Chicago, with 15 Meese braving the cold. Highlights included watching the Wildcats shut out Minnesota and touring the new building. Watching the Bears lose a heartbreaker to the Lions left everyone speechless. Steak was enjoyed by all. Anant Gupta Anant had an eventful 2017. The highlight of the year was being blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Anvika,on March 15. Arpita resumed work at ICICI Bank after her maternity leave last October. Anant continues to work at Kedaara Capital as a principal in the midst of exciting times in private equity in India.

Guillermo Mallen

Guillermo, his wife, Catalina, and son, Mateo (3), moved to San Diego after living five years in the Boston area. Guillermo started a job with HP as a strategy senior manager for its Graphics Solutions business.

Evan Meagher

Evan is the vice president of finance at Logikcull, an e-discovery software platform. He has two terrible dogs and lives with his wife in San Francisco, plays vintage baseball for the San Francisco Pacifics and sings lead for a rock band called the Western Nephews.

Nicole Tilzer

In June 2017, Nicole left the world of startups for a new role within Hilton Worldwide as the director of destination marketing for NYC. She’s absolutely loving it and taking advantage of all the travel perks (last-minute trip to Nicaragua over MLK weekend, for starters). In addition, she completed her 17th full marathon in NYC on Nov. 5, 2017.

The European 1Y crew of 2009 joined together for the 10th time for their Sinterklaas celebration. This year, it took place in England with Joris, Martin, Soren, Chris, their JV’s and all the (10!) kids. Kevin and Sophie Roche were excellent hosts.

Ben Wightman

Ben was promoted from gyro to parent company the Dentsu Aegis Network. In the newly created head of data strategy role, he will drive the network’s data business and governance throughout Asia Pacific. (http://www. marketing-interactive.com/dan-appoints-head-of-data-strategy-for-apac/)
