John Haskell’s great love of great wine has spilled over into his own winery: Boscoe Wine Co. John’s son, David, a highly experienced sommelier and restaurateur is helping run the show as president and financial backer. So far the wines from the 2015 vintage, Grenache Blanc and Syrah, have been well accepted by many top restaurants. Both 2015 Lizette, Grenache Blanc and 2015 La Fai Syrah are available through the website. They are very excited about this new venture.

C. Lloyd Johnson, Jr. retired in 2010. He was chairman & CEO of the C. Lloyd Johnson Co., Inc. in Norfolk, Virginia. The company supplied U.S. military commissaries, PXs, navy ship stores and veterans hospitals worldwide with leading brands of consumer goods. He sold the business in 2008 and currently play lots of golf. He and his wife Patti travel extensively and consider themselves east coast boaters. They will continue to live in Virginia Beach about nine or 10 months a year, and two to three months in Florida. It’s been a great life so far!
