Since the publication of Chetan Mahajan's first book “The Bad Boys of Bokaro Jail,” Chetan has been working closely with Amnesty International. Chetan acts as a spokesperson for the cause of undertrials in India. Chetan is requesting support for the petition 436a.in, which seeks better enactment of the current laws pertaining to undertrials. Chetan and his family plan to move to a village in the Himalayas in March 2015. He is working on his next non-fiction book, which will be about that experience.
