Erik Severinghaus founded SimpleRelevance, the machine-learning platform that drives a tremendous increase in customer engagement for Fortune 500 digital marketers. Since its debut in 2011, the company has raised $2.5 million from Chicago-area venture capitalists, was featured on the cover of Crain’s Chicago Business, won best startup pitch at the Brands + Startups Competition, and led a panel of email experts at the Email Insider Summit. The year has been filled with growth for Erik and his team.

After spending time in Nashville, Bill Snyder and his wife, Gudrun, moved back to Chicago in 2014, where Bill took the position of Vice President for Illinois at Humana Inc. While Bill is excited about leading his team to help Humana members achieve life-long wellbeing, he is even more excited about the new addition to the Snyder family: Sunna Wu Snyder was born at Northwestern’s Prentice Women’s Hospital on Jan. 16, 2015. Fellow Kellogg families threw a surprise baby shower to celebrate.
