1992 Full-Time

After 10+ years of affiliation with Ameriprise Financial, the last six of which were as a franchisee “independent” advisor, Matthew Allgood has taken his practice to an even greater level of independence, adopting a hybrid RIA model, and starting up Allgood Financial (www.allgoodfin.com). His oldest child is now at college, and with three others at home, Matthew and his wife cover ground at four separate schools.

Andy Arenberg is about to celebrate his 18th year as a San Francisco area resident, having moved from the Chicago area in 1997. Andy is married and the proud parent of two girls, Lexi and Abby, and works for TIAA-CREF as the Head of Asset Management Marketing.

Gieriet Bowen and husband Ted each turned 50 last year, and they celebrated 25 years of marriage. Adding to the celebrations were the graduations of three (of five) kids from various schools in a 7-day timespan. One now works in NYC, two are in college, one is in high school and the youngest is in 7th grade. Gieriet is still teaching Twitter and social media engagement to local business leaders and professionals, and is working on Up & Running (www.upnrunning.co), “Your go-to resource for lifelong learners.”

Amber Elenz is honored to report that she has been elected to serve as the Vice President of the Board of Trustees for the Austin Independent School District. Austin ISD serves 85,000 students with 12,000 employees and a billion dollar budget. Amber was originally elected to the Board in 2012 and her term expires in 2016. She would love visitors to Austin to see some of the fabulous urban public schools and enjoy the city’s great music.

In 2013, Kai Robertson took the non-linear career path to be an independent Senior Corporate Sustainability Advisor, providing practical guidance on food, beverage and agriculture issues. She is enjoying the diversity of projects and finding lots of ways to build on prior work with companies (brands, restaurants and retailers) and non-profits. Kai still lives in Washington D.C., playing soccer (Kellogg pastime), and is having fun parenting two teen kids.
