Steve Carnes had a rendezvous with Stu Lerner '89 and Stephane Kanovitch '89 in Paris during the July 4, 2014 weekend, including a great French meal with spouses.

Karin Dommermuth (O'Connor) stepped down in July 2014 as Managing Director of Hyde Park Angels, Chicago's largest angel investor network, after running the group through three years of rapid growth and program expansion. Karin has joined the management team of one of their start-ups, Moxie Jean, an online reseller of gently-used baby and kids’ clothing and is having a blast exploring her entrepreneurial side. Her daughter, Hallie, is already a junior in high school.

Sharon Komlofske has just been hired as the Development Director with the Chicago Chapter of Pratham USA, a nonprofit that uses innovation and scale to improve the learning outcomes and employment potential for children and young adults throughout India. Sharon encourages fellow alums to get in touch to learn more about this wonderful organization.

After selling AfricanSafaris.com early last year, Jeff Ward has embarked on a new travel-related entrepreneurial venture. Savvy Navigator is his latest venture with the goal of connecting luxury-travel enthusiasts with the best overseas agents and operators. This network of professionals will help you plan the perfect trip. If you’re headed to India, taking an African Safari or wine touring in New Zealand, Jeff and his team of experts can show you the way.
