Lillian Luu completed the Las Vegas Marathon with a time of 4:45:47. Lillian continues to dedicate each of her marathon efforts to world causes such as PenniesforPeace.org. What a great ambassador we have in EMP-57!

Terry Ma and family enjoyed a trip to China over the Christmas holidays.
Patrick Herguth earned his private pilot certificate in July. He began his flight training about a year earlier and was motivated to do so as the COO of Avidyne, a manufacturer of advanced avionics equipment for general aviation aircraft. Since earning his private pilot’s license, he has done about 20 hours of aerobatic training, to the delight of his wife, Sunny.
After spending last year commuting to IBM Software Group headquarters in Somers, NY, Mike Alessandro has taken on his first executive assignment at IBM as the director of worldwide sales for SPSS, a recent acquisition by IBM. While still living in Omaha, Mike will be in Chicago more often at his new "official" location in the Sears (a.k.a. Willis) Tower!
