Tracey Quinn accepted a new position at the University of Chicago as associate vice president for program development and national laboratories. In her new role, Tracey will serve as secretary to the UChicago Argonne Board of Governors and the Fermi Research Alliance Board of Directors, and will have executive management responsibility for all board support and programmatic and operational review functions for both boards.
Tracey most recently has been working with Lynn Bromstedt at Abbott Laboratories, where she has served since 2008 as a business development strategist, securing new business opportunities. Prior to that, Tracey worked for 10 years at the Boeing Company in a series of positions with increasing responsibility, including director of company administration, in which she staffed the company’s board of directors and executive council. She then served as director of shared services for Boeing’s world headquarters and Boeing International before being named senior director of international services and business support. In this position, Tracey reported to both unit presidents and supervised a team of 125 personnel in more than 25 international offices. Congrats to Tracey in her new position!
