EMP-46
Greetings fellow EMP-46ers! It is a pleasure to once again to catch up in this very special year when we celebrate the 10th anniversary of our graduation from Kellogg.
Let me be the first to congratulate Alan Burack on his recent marriage. We can’t wait to see pictures of Alan at the new barbeque he purchased upon moving to the suburbs. Jose wants to know when the housewarming party will take place.
Daryl Gormley sent news that he has moved over to the retail grocery side of the business with Jimmy Dean.
Ann Kloth sent word that her current employer, CVS Minute Clinic, will be moving their headquarters to their corporate office in Rhode Island this spring. As she put it, the change is giving her an opportunity to reconsider what she will do when she grows up. I am sure that she will be reaching out to members of our class for advice and assistance in her decision.
Larry Bilello will definitely be the sweetest and most popular person at Reunion. Larry can bring the Twinkies, as he is senior vice president of the business unit and general manager for Hostess Brands Inc.
Sam McClive sends her regards to all. She is with Hylant Group.
Abe Orbach and Lynn have retired to Hilton Head Island. I am sure that Abe is already enrolled at the local university, seeking another advanced degree as a part of his "retirement."
Darrin Reilly sent notice of his new position as COO for PlantCML in sunny California. We hope to see him at Reunion.
Dave Susalla is very excited about his new role as CFO for the Chicago Children’s Museum. We are sure he will be sending invitations to all of us for the next benefit!
Peter Zaleski is happy to update all of us about his position as a principal at CSC in Falls Church, Va.
Darlene Ziebell shared news that 2009 was a great year for her, as she was asked by many entrepreneurs to help get their business off the ground and running in the right direction. Anyone with a good idea should call her soon, as she now has the capacity to take on one or two more prospective private clients.
I (Susan Nedza) would like to close with some personal information. I accepted a position as vice president for healthcare delivery solutions at the American Medical Association. I am excited, as this promotion will provide me with an opportunity to pursue my career goal of impacting health care and helping physicians in their day-to-day practice. Unfortunately, this opportunity carries with it additional responsibilities. It has meant that I have had to end a number of personal commitments, including serving as our class representative. I would like to thank everyone for the opportunity to have served as your class representative for the past 10 years. It has been a great honor to work with Greg, Alan and Jose to keep our class connected, and I pledge to continue to participate in our activities in a different but meaningful way. |
