The Oct. 18 wedding of Eric Epstein ’08 and Becky Ingis ’09 turned into a mini Kellogg reunion as friends came from all over the country to celebrate.

Marisa Gottlieb, Ann Stockman, Amy Helenbrook, Anita Pardasani, Marissa Shear, Melinda Spooner and Lyndsi Lee, all’08 except Lee, escaped the treacherous grip of winter by fleeing to the Mayan Riviera and soaking up the sun at Playa Del Carmen.  
   

For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, winter has finally passed. We can finally share tales of new family additions, risking life and limb atop towering wind turbines and escaping the cold for tropical paradise. If you have news of adventure, accomplishment or accolade please do not hesitate to let us know for our next issue. So without much further ado, onto the updates…

Marisa Gottlieb, Ann Stockman, Amy Helenbrook, Anita Pardasani, Marissa Shear, Melinda Spooner and Lyndsi Lee escaped the treacherous grip of winter by fleeing to the Mayan Riviera and soaking up the sun at Playa Del Carmen.

Suneel Gupta signed up for even more Chicago winter fun by joining Groupon.com as vice president of product development. The Chicago start-up is one of the most regarded companies in the social advertising space. Check them out at groupon.com today.

Prilla Krone and Mills Schenck were married Oct. 3 in Winnetka, Ill. Fellow Big Dogs Ann Lott and Mike Rosskamm were in the wedding party and Mike Markovich was a reader. Additional members of the class of 2008 also helped the couple celebrate, including Nadine Arotin, Andy Baker, Carolyn Fusfeld, Scott Hartman, James Haunty, Amy Helenbrook, Matt Klainer, Jenn Linn, Andy Lozier, Ron Paluck, Daniel Roiter, Daisuke Tanaka (flew in from Japan!) and Brian Zavernsnik. Father of the bride Philip Krone ’70, Ryan Clark ‘07, Julie Halperin ‘09 and Tom Phillips ’97 completed the Kellogg crew in attendance.

Chaim and Tanya Lubin welcomed their daughter into the world on March 6, 2009. The family is doing well and enjoying living in Chicago!

Jeffrey Peterson has been living out his own version of "Dirty Jobs," scaling 300-foot turbines to stand on a metal deck in 25 degrees below with air blowing at 50 miles per hour. Jeff tempts fate at daredevil heights to make sure America’s wind farms are up and running.

Michael Teplitsky and a group of 2008 Kellogg grads, including Michael Feldman, Tassilo Arnhold, Mario Turza, Maz Brumand, Marco Wirasinghe and Prasanthi Gandhi, attended the wedding of Roshni Nadar in New Delhi, India. The great trip to India included the traditional five-day wedding feast, a trip to the Taj Mahal in Agra, and an elephant ride in Jaipur, Rajastan’s magical "Pink City." Trip highlights include the Sangeets and the plane ride back with Dean Dipak Jain.

The Oct. 18 wedding of Eric Epstein and Becky Ingis ’09 turned into a mini Kellogg reunion as friends came from all over the country to celebrate. The night ended in true Kellogg style as the bride and groom, both former Special K! cast members and Rocket Pockets lead vocalists, joined the band to belt out "Don’t Stop Believing." Eric and Becky live in Hoboken, N.J. Eric is in a leadership development program at Mars Chocolate North America and Becky is a consultant at Bain New York.

Raquel Lachman accepted a position as associate brand manager at Vitaminwater in Whitestone, N.Y.

Barbara Geluda married her husband Lucas in November. The two met while Barbara was on vacation from Kellogg in Rio de Janeiro for the holidays. Barbara works at Google and the couple resides in San Francisco.

Sophia and Juan Miguens welcomed their daughter Lourdes (Loulu) into the world on March 17, 2009. The new family is doing well in Portland, Ore., where Juan works at Nike.

Merav (Kushner) Benson and husband Aaron welcomed a baby girl into their family Jan. 31. The little lady is named Elisabeth Brianna and was 8 pounds, 1 ounce and 19.5 inches long on her birthday. The family is doing well!

Chris Brusznicki was featured in the December issue of Entrepreneur magazine. Chris’s sports vacation rental business, GamedayHousing.com, was profiled as part of the emerging trends issue. The company is one of several vacation rental and residential brokerage brands that Chris owns and manages with business partner Geoff Polk (JD ’06).
