Kim Wobschall and Brent Radeloff were married Nov. 25 in Naples, Fla. Kim continues her career at CrossCom National as account vice president and is in the process of moving to Hartford, Conn., where Brent is vice president of product management at Travelers Insurance.
Martin Melaver has authored a new book, Living Above the Store: Building a Business That Creates Value, Inspires Change, and Restores Land and Community (Chelsea Green, 2009), which will be published on April 5. You can order a copy at chelseagreen.com/authors/martin_melaver. This is Martin's second book on sustainable development, following The Greene Building Bottom Line, which was published in October.
A firm co-founded by Mike Sampson, crowdSPRING, was officially named the winner of the 2008 Wired Small Biz contest. crowdSPRING (crowdSPRING.com) is the community-driven marketplace for creative services that brings the power of crowd sourcing to creative challenges worldwide. This is a tremendous honor and very deserved recognition for this innovative concept.
Teresa Matsui Sanders participated in the panel, "Stimulating Cycles of Renewal in Family Business," at the Campden Conference on Families in Business in San Francisco. Teresa is working on an outreach program for college scholarship recipients from her father's educational foundation. The objectives are to support these students as they transition to college and to eventually assist in their career development.
