Professionally, Brian Hick's prior employer, a wind energy developer (Airtricity Inc.) was sold to a large German utility, E.ON in the fall of 2007. He worked in project finance at E.ON until spring 2008 and left to be a director of project finance for another wind energy developer, Wind Capital Group, but is still based in Chicago. Personally, Brian and his wife are pleased to announce the birth of their first child, Owen Michael Hicks, in April 2008. They reside in Lakeview.

Diana Fagans shares that in January, Diana celebrated her one-year anniversary with Visa as an account executive supporting U.S. Bank. Prior to joining Visa, Diana was at Prophet, a global consultancy specializing in branding, marketing and innovation. Outside of work, Diana loves chasing around her 18-month-old, Paul Kazimieras Fagans, who was born August 2007. Diana, her husband Doug '07, and Paul live in Wheaton, Ill.

Mary Liz Lehman and her husband, Peter, welcomed their first child, Madeleine Tully Lehman, on Sept. 21. Mary Liz's boutique Perchance also launched its new e-commerce Web site (perchanceboutique.com).

Kimberly Carlini and her husband, Anthony, are proud parents of a little boy Giovanni (2) and a little girl (born July) and made the move to the suburbs (Clarendon Hills) last July. Kimberly's always looking to network with other alumni in her area.

Matthew Yale was named deputy chief of staff to U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan. Yale was previously the vice president of Chicago-based Ariel Investments.
