Greetings, gang! Looking for a little fast fix and a new take for a clichéd season, I went and entered "spring" on Wikipedia. The all-knowing returned some completely irrelevant, but nevertheless fascinating, definitions which I thought I'd share here. What came up was, "A season of the year," "a mechanical part," "a Chinese airline," "an episode of Pee-Wee's Playhouse," "a commune in Alba County, Romania," and my personal favorite, "a character in The Runelords series of fantasy novels by David Farland." However you choose to experience spring, I hope it treats you well. And now on to the news.

Rodrigo Ribeiro is livin' la vida loca as both he and his wife are in Miami, working in finance and hanging with the greatest party crasher of all: a new baby. He writes: "Janaina and I have been living in Miami since 2005, where we both work for Barclays Wealth. The greatest news is that we welcomed our first baby Gabriel Souza Ribeiro at 5:50 a.m. on Sept. 9. We are enjoying every minute of it and although our days are longer, the weeks seem to be shorter and shorter!"

Far be it for me to make cross-cultural stereotypes but Raj Chinai did it for me with his reaffirmation of India as technological titan. Upon completing the MBA/MPA Program (Kellogg/Harvard) in 2004, Raj returned to investment banking, where he spent his summer internship the previous year. Based in San Francisco, he focused on the media and technology sectors. Given his interest in media, he subsequently joined Yahoo's business development team, where he looked at deal opportunities in the U.S. and India. In early 2007, Raj helped launch SVB India Capital Partners, an India-centric venture capital fund. As a principal there, he focuses on early and mid-stage investments in media and technology, as well as the retail, logistics, infrastructure services and hospitality sectors. Raj is based in Bangalore, India. He would love to connect with Kellogg alums visiting or living in India.

If you do head to India, why not schedule a stopover in Dubai? Ojas Wadivkar has relocated to the glittering oasis for two years with AT Kearney. And Mo El-Hage also is there and is well-established as a fatherly figure, having welcomed his second child.

Federal employees are standing proud these days, though not as proud as I am to see a fellow islander being hailed as Chief. (Our other big celebrities include Bette Midler and Keanu Reeves's dad.) Mike Williams writes: "My wife Lauren and I welcomed our twins, Leah and Tanner, on Dec. 17. They join big brother Brady at home. I'm in D.C. and still work in finance at the FAA, enjoying the lifestyle (no work on Inauguration Day) and security of working for the federal government."

Seth Goldberger got married to "the most amazing woman in the world," Tracy Rohrbaugh, on Dec. 6 at the Angel Orensanz Foundation in New York. Seth writes that the location is the oldest synagogue in New York and where his great-grandfather belonged. (After Seth and Tracy, secondary celebrity sightings have included Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker, who also tied the knot and broke the glass here.) According to Mr. Goldberger-Rohrbaugh, "Of course, no party is complete without a few Kellogg folks, so in addition to Ian Vacin acting as my best man at the wedding, we were fortunate to be surrounded by a group of other close friends, including Geeta Arora, Cynthia Goodrich, Chris Tucker '03, Jason Victor, Chad and Angie Harding and Brian Colton."

Other sightings from the Class of 2004: Brian Hakim is alive, well and enjoying San Francisco, Andrew Sofield and husband Drew Meade sipping malbec with Mario and Mane Dominguez, Juan Pablo Rossi and Maren Lau in Uruguay's Punta del Este, Michael Sheehan consulting in Columbus, Michael Aingorn spotted as a groomsman in a wedding video, Daniel Beck stalking tigers in Rajasthan, India, Elizabeth Lang promoting oh-so-yummy milk chocolate bars with bacon, Michelle Carmichael now in London, now in New York, now in London, Lane Armey off at band camp, Brian Oxley and Jonathan Conta skiing in Vail, Jeremy Kranz watching American Idol and Sheldon Ng in Shanghai.

Winning the best reason for relocation award, Jeff Chesnut writes: "After the arrival of our second daughter Lily Kate Chesnut, we realized how much we wanted our two girls to grow up closer to their grandparents. So I resigned from Anheuser-Busch in St. Louis, relocated to Dallas, and joined Match.com, where I'm focused on managing our partnership and business development efforts. I miss the two free cases of beer every month but am enjoying the sudden availability of free babysitting on Friday and Saturday nights. See you at the Reunion." While I know some of you may disagree (give up free beer with nowhere to go on weekends but the living room couch to drink it? Paradise!), I call it a shrewd move indeed.

In early December, several classmates traveled to India to celebrate Sapna Chadha's wedding to Ranvir Singh. The multi-day festivities were held in New Delhi and hosted by the wonderful Chadha and Singh families. In attendance were folks from all over the globe: Dan Beck, his wife Natara Garavoy and Jennifer Chen from San Francisco; Maren Lau and Juan Pablo Rossi from Buenos Aires; Bobby Sheikh from London and Marene Jennings and Stacy Gibbons from New York. Following the wedding, the entire crew headed to visit the Taj Mahal (a must see) and then split up into groups to visit Ranthambore Park and Jaipur. Sapna and Ranvir reside in Delhi, where Sapna works for American Express.

Lynsey and Jared Day proudly announce the birth of their third child, Collier Lobb Day, on Sept. 12. Big sister Morgan and big brother Joseph are excited about their new baby brother.

Paul Gregory reports: "We spent the first week of January in Kitzbühel, Austria, with friends. Annetta started skiing this year, while Marina was very upset that she was too little to put on skis. A good time was had by all. More importantly, there were no injuries."

Aman Grewal and wife Rasham have been globe-trotting far and wide since Kellogg. (Hopefully for Rasham, it was not on a student's budget). Wanderlusters and grid skippers will appreciate their itinerary. Aman writes: "We covered various corners of the world (mostly Australia and Asia) and a great deal of Europe on multiple trips. We found that Prague is our favorite city, though it was also very easy to fall in love with Rome. The other cities we covered were London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Amsterdam, Hague, Munich and Salzburg."
