Melissa (Mathson) Richlen '01, husband Dan and new son Matthew Laurence

2001 — Part-Time

Kara Child '01 with husband Matthew Kline EMP-50

Melissa (Mathson) Richlen and her husband Dan welcomed their first son, Matthew Laurence, on Oct. 6. Matthew was 7 pounds, 10 ounces and 20 inches long. Since then, he has grown like a weed and is smiling and giggling at everything and everyone. Melissa is still working at The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation as a manager of private equity and lives in the Ravenswood neighborhood in Chicago.

Congratulations to Kara Child, who married Kellogg grad Matthew Kline EMP-50 last year. Kara reports: "We actually met at a Kellogg alumni function since we were not in school together. We just celebrated our one-year anniversary on Feb. 9. Kellogg has been good for us in many ways!"

Bill Milon is director of U.S. field sales for ATI Allegheny Ludlum. He reports that the specialty steel industry is "plugging along."
