For anyone who is counting, it's been almost eight years since graduation. And while I haven't kept an exact tab, I would guess that there have been hundreds of marriages, births, and job promotions. Our classmates have shared numerous vacations and mini-reunions and a few have even run marathons. However, the one thing yet to be shared is anyone's blog. I know quite a few friends with blogs about their babies and parenthood, but I'm curious if anyone has written a business blog that might be interesting to our fellow classmates? If so, feel free to send it along with your other class notes. I'll share it next time and maybe you'll develop a following! In the meantime, here's the latest news:

Pablo Coballasi and his wife Palmira welcomed a beautiful baby daughter, Constanza, last May. Pablo writes, "She is the most joyful baby and we are incredibly thankful and happy for having her." Pablo and Palmira live in Mexico City, where Palmira is getting a master's degree in art history and Pablo runs an investment banking and private equity firm.

John Didrickson and his wife Danielle welcomed their fourth boy into the world on Jan. 4. Payton Jack Didrickson came in at 8 pounds, 9 ounces at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. John writes: "For the record, this gives us four boys under 4 (the oldest are twins and turn 4 this spring, so we cheated a little). We are having a ball with all of them and would definitely make for a great reality show."

Alyssa Kennedy moved from Chicago to Los Angeles, switching careers from management consulting to finance. She is first vice president for research for Aletheia Research and Management Inc., an investment firm in Santa Monica, Calif. Alyssa reports that the Kellogg Club of Los Angeles has helped in making the geographic transition easier by introducing new friends.

Last year was a significant year for Klaus Langner and his wife Lay Cheng, both for personal and professional reasons. In June, Lay Cheng gave birth to their first baby, Kevin Christoph. In July, Klaus was elected partner and managing director at The Boston Consulting Group. He has been based in Singapore since graduation and primarily consults on energy, oil and gas as well as telecommunication companies throughout Southeast Asia. To relax as a young family after a busy year, Bali was the natural choice. With 18 previous visits, it's become their favorite vacation spot in Southeast Asia.

Albert Liu and wife Sarah welcomed Logan Alexander to the world on June 23. Al writes: "We've had quite a busy year. We moved to Highland Park, Ill., in late 2007, had Logan join the Liu crew in middle of 2008 and then I left Harrah's Entertainment at the end of the year. Realizing 2.5 hours in the car each day has no benefits whatsoever, I traded in blackjack and slots for software and the Internet and joined a start-up called Amadesa in December, which is based in Evanston."

Marcos Marinho Lutz and his wife Maria welcomed their second son on Dec. 15, named Marcos after his father.

Andrew Malkin and Ellery '02 welcomed the arrival of their second child, Steele Stokes Malkin, on Dec. 19. He joins his sister Channing (3.5). Ellery is going back to work for Tauck World Discovery in new product development while Andrew left Rodale in November and is doing media and entertainment consulting for Overbrook Consulting. He is also chairing the Kellogg Alumni Club of Connecticut and planning a spring networking event featuring top-notch South African wines.

Austin and Fred Malloy are proud to announce that Larkin Lacy Malloy was born on Dec. 22. Her older brothers Mac (7), Charlie (4) and Murphy (3) are very excited to have a sister. Fred writes: "Look me up on Facebook for some pictures and videos of chaos in the Malloy household. In other news, we still live in Wellesley, Mass., and I left Intervale Capital to launch a firm that raises capital for private equity funds."

Marisa (O'Connor) Mulvihill and her husband Dan had their second child, Eliza Mercedes, in September. Eliza joins her older brother Liam (3). Marisa was on a six-month maternity leave, but returned to Prophet, a marketing and brand strategy consulting firm, in March.

Erica Oliver and her husband are celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary this year. Erica is the financial controller at Harrah's Casino and Hotel.

Jennifer Zierden is still working at Deloitte, but she moved out of consulting to an internal talent project management role where she is helping implement the firm's new talent development strategy. She writes: "I love the position, as it retains many of the elements of consulting I enjoy, without the stress of travel, sales and billable hours! No one is more surprised than me that I lasted as long as I did in consulting, but I am really happy to stay at Deloitte in this new capacity."
