Nina Burokas shares the following update from the Left Coast: "Recently found the adventure I was seeking in the launch of corporate VMG (Velocity Made Good) (corporatevmg.com), a serious play training organization that produces sailing retreats and yacht racing events designed to develop teams' strategic agility and tactical effectiveness. The initial base of operations is Long Beach, Calif., also home to client/partner Long Beach Yacht Club Sailing Foundation's world-class Catalina 37 One Design fleet and the best winds in Southern California. Potential clients and partners (OD consultants, event planners, captains, coaches and fleet owners) and fellow sailors/adventurers are invited to contact me."
Nina also writes: "When not at the helm of CVMG, I continue to consult on brand engagement, concept development and communication initiatives and serve as president of the Kellogg Orange County Alumni Club." Having shared the news on her latest venture, Nina signed off with this fitting quote from Alexander Pope: "On life's vast ocean diversely we sail, reason the card, but passion is the gale." |
