1987 — Full-Time

Greetings class of '87. Not much news to report. My callout last time received one reply. Thanks to Geoff Adaire, I can say the effort was not a complete flop. Geoff has been living here in the Windy City since graduation, specifically in Oak Park, Ill., where he is neighbors with Gary McCullough, who had to move away, then back again to truly appreciate all that Chicago has to offer. Geoff and his wife Brenda '88 have two boys Connor (15) and Alex (14). Geoff is senior vice president and senior managing director at a commercial real estate firm that Reuben Hendell still believes was named after him. The company is named Studley Inc. I kid you not. Geoff covers a broad expanse from Kansas City to Pittsburgh and Minneapolis to Nashville. He represents primarily large law firms, mid/small caps and several utilities.

Hopefully the alumni office has received some updates to tack on here, otherwise that's about all I've got. Maybe by the next column I'll have more letters and the economy will be in somewhat better shape. I don't know about all of you but I'm about ready to throw in the towel and move to a grass shack in Costa Rica or Belize. Here's another callout. It sure would be nice to hear from you all or at least let us know if you still live in the towns I've grabbed from the online directory — Thomas Acton, Huntington, N.Y., Chris Cook, San Francisco, Carol Greenspun, N. Potomac, M.D., Linda Johnson Rice, Chicago, David Reich, Harleysville, Penn. and Kim Contos Rowan, Winston Salem, N.C. Until next time.
