Jake
Steele's
company, Chipleaders Inc., joined forces with WPT Enterprises
in November 2005 to create a large online poker community,
complete with forums, blogs and tournaments. Says Steele:

players, as we develop and foster this remarkable social network
devoted to poker."
Chad
Fleck, trade commissioner for International Trade Canada,
is vigorously learning Japanese for a new posting in Tokyo
that becomes effective in 2007.
Ashwin
Amladi has accepted a position at Ernst & Young LLP
(Chicago) to work in to transaction advisory services department.
Ashwin moved with his family in March.
The
Kellogg-Schulich Entrepreneur Group recently featured speaker
Jim Glover, director of business development Bank of Canada
(BDC). Jim has extensive experience in bringing new products
to market, having previously held senior positions with Nortel
Networks in product management, engineering, finance and marketing.
Jim provided an overview of the Canadian venture capital industry.
