EMP-49

Bill O'Connell EMP-50 and Mark Crompton completed the acquisition of L&P Provisions Inc. in Chicago. Both of them are partners at Green River Ventures and this is their first acquisition. L&P Provisions is a meat wholesaler based in the Fulton market and serves customers throughout Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Wisconsin. Their second acquisition will be completed in the spring and will be complementary to L&P.

George West has been promoted with Siemens Building Technologies as vice president and division head for security solutions. He is in the midst of relocating in Long Grove. Congratulations to George and his wonderful wife Mary Beth for the job well done. Not to take away lime light from George, but there is something about George's sporting family; his mother Georgia has been serving as a curling event judge in several winter Olympics, including Salt Lake and Torino (Italy).
