Art Handman wrote in February that he planned to meet Jerry Edwards in Boston for dinner and to catch up on old times. Art says that "Jerry continues to do well at ConAgra, which — in a weird 'small world' story — is now being run by the former president of Tropicana, Gary Rodkin."

Art also wrote: "In my small world, Energizer continues to do well, and we continue on our journey to leadership in our categories, as we led the first category price increase on batteries in seven years, and as the No. 2 share player, no less. Our Kellogg professors would be proud of us! We are working on bringing some innovative 'portable power' products to the market as well. I have just added responsibility for our professional markets team, so I can learn more about the OEM, industrial, medical and non-retail office products businesses."
