Danielle
Dycus
has been promoted to director of European marketing at the
Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Danielle is responsible for developing,
maintaining and growing client relationships within the United
Kingdom, Ireland and Gibraltar, with the goal of increasing
the CME customer base and corresponding trading volumes. She
is located in London.
Steve
Schwartz and his wife
Jill recently returned from Hunan, China, where they adopted
their 17-month-old daughter Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn is currently
enjoying coursework in "intensive English appreciation"
and "plush toys of the 21st century (with lab)."
Mark
H. Nelson in February
joined DeVry Inc. as a regional marketing director.
Dan
Sullivan started a new company three miles south of the
Evanston campus called LAMS Real Estate Management. He writes:
"I decided to work on helping my lakeside neighborhood
reach its enormous potential, so in the summer of '03 I bought
a couple of buildings in Rogers Park that had been built by
my great-grandfather, but had fallen into a slum state. I
enjoyed restoring them so much that I have dedicated all my
work time to acquiring and turning around badly managed apartment
buildings. If anyone is looking for a well-managed and reasonably
priced apartment close to the lake and the 'L,' they should
contact LAMS (773.262.4043)."
Carolina
Cruxent-Roig has been with BellSouth Telecommunications for the
last eight years, reporting to Atlanta, but based in Miami.
She writes: "I handle ethnic advertising for BellSouth's
nine-state region. I moved back to Miami in 1997 after working
with AT&T in Chicago, and, previously, on the Ameritech
account at a Hispanic ad agency also in Chicago. My husband
Alex and I have two sons, Nicholas, 6, and Cristian, 2. We're
happy in Miami as our family is here, but we really miss Chicago!
We'd love to go back if the opportunity arises." |
