(This update has been shortened due to the upcoming Reunion.)

Greetings fellow classmates! The most important news we have to share is that we expect 100 percent participation in the upcoming Kellogg School Reunion, April 29-May 1. We know that much has changed over time, but our need to stay connected and to celebrate our Kellogg friendships has not. For additional information please visit the Web site alumni.kellogg.northwestern.edu/reunion.

As part of the processes, we are asking you to share your thoughts on what our years at Kellogg have meant to you. Always the first one in line, Don DiLucchio sent the following message to start us off: "The most important lesson was to develop your network and keep it updated by providing support, opportunities and advice. The most important guiding principle is to always be conscience of supporting others and making others look good. In the end, good things will always come back to you."

Family news: John Slater sends news of the birth of Jordan Kelsey Slater on Fat Tuesday, Feb. 8. The Slaters related that the date fits with the Ben & Jerry's party theme. John's dessert empire is growing, as a deal on two more ice cream stores is close.

Gatherings: The annual holiday gathering was a great success. The new "Keep It Simple" format included a cocktail hour at the Hotel Meridien and an impromptu dinner at the Grand Lux Café. Patrick Spencer, Alan Burack, Susan Nedza, Sam McClive, Greg Calloway, Mike Jakolat, David Hill, Don Dilucchio and Dave Susalla had a great time. Thanks to Don for flying in for the event.

Many thanks to Sam McClive, Darrell Jackson and Jose Martinez, who braved the snow to attend the Maria High School benefit in January. That's it for now. We look forward to seeing you all in April!
