Bin Liu and wife Jie Wang welcomed their first-born, Kelly, on Nov. 3. The family is in great health. Bin writes that Kelly has grown "3 inches and 6 pounds in the past two months — 95 percent above her peer group." Just as we expected from the progeny of Kellogg achievers!

Another addition to Kellogg Kids: Sarp Gursel was born Sept. 18 in Pleasanton, Calif. Proud father Burak Gursel notes that his son was 21 inches and 8 pounds, 1 ounce. Mom and son are in fine health.

After many years in the States, Molly and Ivan Bravo have made it back to Ivan's native land of Spain. Ivan is now undertaking international business development for soccer team Real Madrid. As he says, "the professional opportunity that came up was too exciting to pass up." (Anyone who recalls the bidding war at the 2004 Charity Auction Ball would concur.)

In regard to Spaniards who have stayed in the States, the following was recently seen on a blackboard at a Chicago-based gourmet eatery: "Spanish cheeses and meats starring Guillermo Trias," also known as "Chicago's self-professed 'Ambassador to Spain.'" Check him out for yourself with CBS Chicago reporter Alita Guillen (wife of Enrique Guillen) at cbs2chicago.com/video_cooking/?cat=17&next=24. Click on the "Spanish Ham in Your Holidays" video. Needless to say, business is going well.

Celebrating the end of another Fantasy Football season, a group of Big Dogs recently reunited in New York. Revelers included Jon Briones, Matt Murray, Theo Brito, Chris Butler, Dave Rostan, Eric Mason, Tom Gilmore, Doug Osrow and Lane Armey.

Class of 2004 alums
Class of 2004 alums Raj Chinai, Michael Ainghorn, Rebeca Castellon, Ankur Manglik and Vee-En Chan got together in New York last summer. Behind them is a stranger who thought he'd join the picture.

Raj Chinai writes: "Michael Aingorn, Rebeca Castellon, Ankur Manglik, Vee-En Chan and I had a mini-reunion in NYC in August. After complaining about our adjustment from the two-year summer camp to the working world, we pushed the night forward with the city's finest sushi coupled with plenty of sake. Raj is with Banc of America Securites in San Francisco; Ankur has joined JP Morgan in NYC; and Vee-En is with Lehman Brothers in NYC. They haven't slept in two weeks. Michael is with Imperator Capital, a NYC hedge fund. Rebeca is also in NYC. For those of you in NYC or SF, we'd love to get in touch with you!"
