Rounding
out the year was Rebecca and James Bouck's wedding in La Jolla,
Calif., in December. Helping them celebrate were Gwen (Gray)
and Bart Vanderburg, Heidi
and Bob Miller, Brandon
Cox and Patti Doyle.
For
almost the past year Andy Marolda has been in the midst of an exciting (and all-consuming)
career change, as he has joined with a close friend and colleague
to found a new private equity investment firm. The new company
is called The Beekman Group LLC, and they just completed an
initial close on investor capital to commence official operations
and pursue their first investments. You can find out more
details at their Web site, thebeekmangroup.com.
Reginald
Warlop and his wife Tiara
are proud to announce the birth of their son Alexander on
Oct. 4. The Warlops live in London, where Reginald works as
a director at AOL Europe and continues to be active in the
alumni organizing committee.

Steve
and Rachel Schnoll bought a brownstone in Brooklyn back in 2000. In 2001 they had daughter
Sarah, welcomed Teddy in 2003 and will let us know when they
have more additions to their family! Rachel has continued
to work as a product manager at Goldman Sachs Asset Management
since graduation and says she "has found it quite gratifying
to be a part of our huge growth in assets over that period
of time."
Congratulations
to Tom and Theresa (McGinness) Geraghty, who are the proud parents of Emily Clare, born Nov.
1.
Aya
Usui (Saito) sent a photo
of the "guy who prevented her from attending her fifth
Kellogg School reunion." Ken-Ichiro Usui was born Nov.
12. Mom reports that he is healthy — sleeps a lot, drinks
a lot and cries a lot. She plans to return to work sometime
in 2005.
Jonathan
Greenblatt and wife Marjan are proud to announce the birth
of their second son Ariel on Feb 8 in Santa Monica, Calif.
Ariel joins big brother Ilan, who is 16 months old. At his
son's bris, Jonathan was joined by fellow Kellogg alums Mani
Dhillon, Sarah Ouchi, Jeff
Hughes and Peter Thum. On the business front, Jonathan
and Peter co-founded Ethos Brands in August 2003, a for-profit
company based on a social mission. Their first product is
Ethos Water, a premium bottled water that helps children get
clean water. The company achieves this goal by donating a
minimum of 50 percent of its profits to bring clean water
to communities in need around the world. Peter and Jonathan
are having fun as their business is expanding rapidly through
sales in Whole Foods Markets, Cost Plus World Market and other
premium retail stores across the country. Ethos also is funding
humanitarian water projects in six countries around the world.

Chad
and Dee Binning Muir welcomed a son on June 17. His name is Watt Binning Muir and he weighed
in at a hefty 10 pounds. Dee says she is convinced that someone
was just preparing him to hold his own with big sister Grace,
2 1/2, who is always on the go!
Gregg
and Laura Bishop George welcomed Spencer Paul on June 25. He joins big brother Jackson, who is
now 2 1/2 years old.
Professor
Ramu Thiagarajan, who taught accounting
at Kellogg for nine years and instructed many of us, left
the school in 1999. He had been in touch with several former
students, but recently changed jobs and has lost contact.
He encourages former students to get in touch with him, and
if they are in San Francisco, stop for a cup of coffee or
lunch. He can be reached at ramu@pequotcap.com.
Aurelio
Paulo "AP" Bartolome writes with exciting news: "In May 2004 I entered
into uncharted territory. I was elected to the city council
of the city of Taguig in metro Manila, Philippines, with almost
50,000 votes. For the next three years I will serve as city
councilor, heading the trade and industry, education and tourism
committees. Meanwhile, I continue my other job as president
and CEO of Enterprise Capital Bank."

After
five years with General Motors' treasurer's office in New
York, Kevin Hadlock
in October took a new position as director of investor relations
for Constellation Energy in Baltimore. In his new role Kevin
is responsible for managing Constellation's relationships
with shareholders and analysts.
Finally,
Jill Levine and Patti Doyle spent the first two weeks
of February traveling in Asia — first in Hong Kong,
where they stopped to visit Helene Liss, who is working
at Moody's Investor Services. After that the three of them
spent some time traveling around Thailand. During this part
of the trip, Helene took a side trip to Cambodia, where she
ran in to Kathryn Sugerman while taking in the sights
at Ankor Wat. It really is a small (Kellogg) world! Keep sending
in all the great news and all the best to our class!
