This summer will mark Lee Selander's 27th year with Northern Trust. He is EVP in charge of risk management and banking services, responsible for a variety of business lines and support services for institutional banking and trust services. Lee is currently in London to help integrate an acquisition and to structure Northern Trust's risk management and regulatory compliance organization. Lee is single, lives in Naperville, Ill., and has two grown children, both interested in advertising and marketing.

Michael Lehman continues to manage customer service operations for M&T Bank in Buffalo. The bank survived a major merger with Allfirst Financial in 2003 and had a good year in 2004. Michael and Joan enjoy living in western New York, where he reports the housing is cheap and the commutes are short ... and two or three months of pleasant summer weather almost make up for five months of winter shoveling. He sends his best wishes to the Class of 1978.

Phyllis Azriel credits her Kellogg colleagues with fostering a lifelong love of team learning. She recently had the chance to reconnect at the Kellogg Alumni Club of Chicago's book club and reports she is looking forward to future meetings. After spending 15 years in management and sales, much of it in Southern California, she returned to the Chicago area. She began a mid-life career change by attending the competitor institution across the Midway and enjoyed working for several years as a psychotherapist. Over the last several years Phyllis has combined her psychology and business skills in the healthcare and insurance industries. She is currently affiliated with Sedgwick CMS, where she helps clients better manage their absenteeism and reduce disability costs. She loves to travel and visited Beijing in 2004. Back in Chicago, life in the city affords Phyllis opportunities to enjoy theater, live music, local architecture and, as always, hanging out with friends and family. She also enjoys coaching executives and other professionals. Phyllis would love to hear from Kellogg colleagues at pazriel@sbcglobal.net.

Bill Walsh writes that he and wife Sue are happily married with four children. Kristin, 20; Bill, 19; and Lauren, 18; are in college; Brian, 16, is a high school junior. Since graduation, Bill has been in the Detroit area working in and around the automotive business. For the last six years, he has owned and operated Walsh Precision Products (walshprecision.com). The company manufactures machined metal fittings and other components for the competitive automotive market. He says Walsh Precision is fortunate to sell to a broad range of North American-based product lines, including those of GM, Ford, Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Nissan and Mercedes Benz. Sue, an Indiana University MBA, owns Yard Art (yardartsigns.com) which makes personalized yard signs and other products for special occasions.

Peggy Cleary works for the San Francisco Unified School District, but is looking for a new opportunity. She lives in San Francisco with husband Peter and two daughters. Alison, 20, is at University of California at San Diego studying biology and working at Scripps Oceanographic Institution. Megan, 16, is a high school junior and spent her sophomore year as an exchange student in Germany. This year Peggy and her family are reciprocating by hosting a German high school exchange student.
