James J. Schlacks checks in with news of a personal milestone: He and wife Mary Patricia celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 30. The anniversary party included their son James C. and his wife Leslie, grandchildren Jeremy and Jessie, and son Neil.

After 40 years as a CPA, Dennis R. Kroner has joined UBS as a financial adviser and personal financial planner. In addition to his work responsibilities, he serves on the board of directors of Mt. Sinai Hospital and Hektoen Institute.
