London
hosted the first European Alumni Club planning session in
November, which was attended by club presidents and board
members from Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, France,
Ireland, Greece and Israel. Ideas were successfully exchanged.
Veuve Clicquot sponsored a champagne tasting for 60 Kellogg
alumni and guests. Nearly $1,200 was raised from £5 tickets
to aid The Children's Section of the Refugee Council. The
winner of the raffle received first-class tickets for two
on Eurostar and a private dinner at the Veuve Clicquot mansion
in Reims, France. Because it coincided with the European Alumni
Club planning session, Kellogg School Dean Dipak Jain (who
sipped sparkling water) and staff members Roxanne Hori, Heidi
Diedrich (who won a bottle of champagne) and Jim Corboy also
attended.

London club
members have been busy with a full slate of activities,
including a champagne tasting for 60 Kellogg alumni and
guests. |
The Kellogg
Alumni Club of London launched a joint TGIF with Columbia
Business School in January and will cohost a Chicago-themed
TGIF with the University of Chicago in May. These initiatives
are part of the club's continuing efforts to provide peer
networking opportunities for alumni. We are planning numerous
educational and social events for 2003. Whether you live in
Europe or are planning a trip to London, you are invited to
join us. For information, please visit the European
Web site.
