TMP
2000
Hello
TMP Class of 2000! Greetings from sunny Chicago. Thanks to
everyone for the great updates. If you don't receive a quarterly
reminder from yours truly about submitting Class Notes, perhaps
you need to set up your alumni
email forwarding address. While you are there, be sure
to sign up for the TMP Class of 2000 listserv.
On with the updates
...
Angie Alleman
was recently promoted to manager in A.T. Kearney's Chicago
office and is planning a four-month leave of absence to travel.
Her plans include participating in a four-week program in
Tanzania to provide HIV/AIDS prevention and awareness education.
Jason Apple
writes that he and wife Wendy are proud to announce the birth
of their first child, Jessica Riley Apple (born Jan. 10).
Jason also started a new job as the marketing director for
the valuation services group at Deloitte and Touche in Chicago.
You can reach him at jason_apple@yahoo.com. Congratulations,
Jason and Wendy!
Jay Brodsky
and his wife Lynn Westwater welcomed a new daughter into the
world. Sofia Madeleine was born Jan. 30. Jay notes that the
three had a lovely room at Northwestern's Prentiss Memorial
overlooking Wieboldt Hall. Hopefully we'll be seeing Sofia
at Kellogg in 25 years or so! Jay can be reached at jay@watersky.com.
David Burden
writes that he and wife Kristy Holcomb Burden TMP '02 are
moving from Old Town to a house in Southport Corridor at 3634
N. Bosworth in April. They hope to see lots of Kellogg Alumni
in the new 'hood! David can be reached at DBurden@cbre.com.
Debbie Clasen
reports that she and her husband Dave have started their
own business development and e-commerce consulting firm (see
www.DandDsolutions.com). Debbie and Dave still enjoy
running with their dalmatians (Debbie finished her first marathon
last October), downhill skiing and racing their sailboat (Dave
won the Mac race in the T-10 class in 2001). Debbie would
love to hear from fellow Kellogg folks who a. want
to network for job opportunities b. are interested
in sailboat racing, or c. just want to say hello. She
can be reached at dclasen2000@kellogg.northwestern.edu
or 847.226.8150.
Jason Ewing
has left Vcapital Inc. and has joined Kinsella Group as vice
president. Kinsella Group is a boutique investment bank focusing
on M&A, capital sourcing and financial advisory services
for middle market companies. Jason and his wife Jocelyn recently
visited Napa Valley and highly recommend the Silver Oak Cabernet
Savignon to any wine-loving alumni. Sizabonana Umngane (Ndebele
for "see you later friends" — one of the Zimbabwe phrases
we learned on the GIM trip to South Africa). Jason can be
reached at jhje98@hotmail.com. Send him an email, perhaps
he'll send you some of that cabernet!
Michael Nuss
was recently promoted to manager in A.T. Kearney's Chicago
office.
Darin Prado (that's
me!) has finally completed a two-year technology consulting
assignment in Boston at Philips Medical Systems. While Boston
was great, Darin is happy to be back in Chicago on a local
client, enjoying all that the city has to offer! Nonetheless,
he is excited to take a two-week vacation to Hawaii later
this year. Darin is still with Hewlett Packard Consulting
and can be reached at darin.prado@hp.com.
Brian Sharpe
married Deborah Horwitz on Sept. 1 in Chicago. Attending the
wedding were best man Jozef Henriquez TMP '96, and other fellow
Kelloggians including Angie Alleman, Nancy (Capecci)
Beebe, Amy (Sixel) Pera TMP '01, Craig Shields TMP '01
and Michael "Webby" Weber. Brian was recently promoted
to manager in A.T. Kearney's Chicago office and Debbie is
an occupational therapist. Brian may be reached at brianmsharpe@yahoo.com.

that I am sure many of you have planned.
