Inspired by the Kellogg-WHU program, Samuel Gebert founded a company with Dr. Wolfgang Heimberg. HTI bio-X GmbH offers a full spectrum of products, manufacturing support and customer service for biotechnological and pharmaceutical laboratories. The team has several years of experience in the field of lab automation.

On Nov. 30, Kellogg alumni had the chance to meet Dean Dipak C. Jain in Zurich to refresh their Kellogg MBA learning experience. During the intense morning lecture, Dean Jain gave insights into the Marketing Moves book he recently co-authored with Suvit Maesincee and fellow Kellogg professor Philip Kotler, to some 50 alumni from various European countries. During the afternoon, the alumni staged an interactive panel on subjects such as business ethics, and were able to pose questions to Dean Jain.

Carlos Kurten has changed jobs within Bosch Rexroth AG. He is now part of the corporate development team of the company. An interesting task is awaiting him, since his work has changed towards strategy-related issues.

Beginning in November, Radu Anghel moved to Berlin in order to take up a new position as product manager Flow&FluidWorld at W.O.M. WORLD OF MEDICINE AG.

An evening dinner in Paris (St.Germain-en-Laye) of Xenia and Marc Schmettau and Magali and Ekkart Kaske marks one of the first reunions for the year 2003.

On Feb. 8, Jesus Lopez officially joined Isuzu Motors Germany GmbH as managing director and CFO. Isuzu Motors Germany was acquired by GM at the end of last year and is responsible for developing, manufacturing and selling diesel engines in Europe.

Sven Hauptmann has begun a new job in the finance department of the pharmaceutical division at the F. Hoffmann La-Roche AG, headquarterd in Basle. He therefore moved home to the southern part of Germany.

In London, Sherry Roberts has started her new job at Quadriga Worldwide Ltd. as marketing director. As Sherry is travelling a lot at the moment, you can be sure she will look you up when she is in your area.
