KH-04

The class of KH-04 has demonstrated its enthusiasm for Kellogg with 100 percent participation for a class gift dedicated to the rebuilding of a primary school in the mountainous region of Shangri-la County, Yunnan Province, PRC. Floods and landslides had seriously damaged the school foundation of He Tao Yuan Primary School, located in a remote and poverty-stricken village in Tiger Leaping Gorge Town, located in the Himalayan foothills. With the support of World Vision and funds provided by KH-04, the school was rebuilt. Fifteen scholarships were distributed as education subsidies, including the donation of a small collection of library books to brighten the children's lives and learning environment. The re-opening of this school is going to benefit the 86 households in the village, with two teachers looking after the 45 students.

Monthly get-togethers for KH-04 are held from 6:15 p.m. to 8 p.m. every fourth Thursday of the month at the Marriott Lobby Lounge.

Members of the class of KH-04 donated money to help rebuild a primary school in the Himalayan foothills. Pictured in the second row, third from left, are David Tse, Judy Sham, and Maureen Kwok, class reps, along with schoolchildren.
