EMP-50

It has been a busy year for the 2002 graduates of EMP-50. Many of us have changed jobs, moved away and started anew. Here's a rundown of the changes to date:

Steve Douglas and family have now moved to the Great White North, taking up residence in Calgary, Alberta. Steve is now a program manager at Siemens-Westinghouse, managing the company's relationship with TransAlta, Canada's largest nonregulated electric generation and marketing company.

Roland Wikstrom has found his way to the Big Apple, taking a position as managing director ñ U.S. Dollar Government Agency Bond Trading.

Stephanie Ruyle also moved to New York, taking a position as director of affiliate marketing for MTV2.

Doug Yakola has moved to Detroit to become the director of customer service for Northwest's Detroit hub operations.

Dave Hedeba has left Hedstrom Corp. and is now the corporate controller for GVW Holdings Inc.in Highland Park, Ill. GVW primarily manufactures chassis for RVs and trucks.

Lisa Wilson and her family have moved to West Palm Beach, Fla., where she and her husband have started a nonprofit 503(c)(3) educational organization called The Mentoring Center.

Speaking of warmer climates, Michael Jeanfreau has moved to San Diego and joined Asset Marketing Systems as a sales development specialist.

Scott Barnhart has packed up, sold his boat to Kevin Ichhpurani and John O'Conner, and moved to Connecticut, where he is now the vice president of North American Supply Systems for Diageo.

Last, but not least, Claudia Temple has left Borg Warner to join Brunswick Corp. as the company's director of risk management.

It was great to see everyone who could make it to our recent happy hour at Spago. It was one of our best turnouts to date. We'll be planning more chances to get together soon. These events are a great opportunity to catch up and keep the network going. I hope that everyone will get the chance to participate.

Keep the updates coming. They are only as good as you make them. I look forward to talking with everyone soon!
