EMP-46 graduates enjoy a holiday party for their class.

EMP-46

EMP-46 continues to show a strong commitment to each other and to our communities. On Dec. 12, the class celebrated the holidays with a dinner at Club Lucky in Chicago. Our fine culinary tradition continued as all enjoyed the location and menu as selected by Alan Burack. Classmates who attended included Ken Barna, Greg Calloway, Dom Cocciemiglio, Bob Gallagher, Ro Kumar, Brigitte Landis, Neal Logston, Mary Ann Lusk, Jose Martinez, Lisa McLafferty, Sue Nedza, Vern Reizman, Harriet Seymore, David Susalla andDarlene Ziebell.

Larry Bilello has informed us that class efforts passing out Christmas baskets for the Midtown Educational Foundation on Dec. 21 were outstanding. The group delivered approximately 40 baskets. Those who couldn't make it donated more than $2,000, and one classmate "adopted" a family of seven who had recently lost everything in a fire. As we all know, the EMP-46 family includes the wonderful EMP staff. Many thanks to Bernie Birt and her son for their attendance at the event.

Alan Burack was voted Director of the Year 2002 by his Chamber of Commerce.

Greg Calloway EMP-46 completes the 25th Chicago Marathon.

Greg Calloway completed the 25th Chicago Marathon and raised more than $2,000 for the Spectrum Minority Scholarship Fund at the American Library Association.

Jose Martinez hosted a group of EMP-46 classmates at the Executive Club of Chicago luncheon. Bob Gallagher, Ro Kumar, Sam McClive, Sue Nedza, Paul Nelson and Patrick Spencer heard finance experts make predictions about the economy for 2003.

Sue Nedza was appointed to the board of trustees of the Hinsdale Public Library in 2002. On Jan. 25, she co-chaired the annual Snowball Benefit for Maria High School. Jose Martinez and his wife, Kamala, and John Rutkauskas and his wife, Charmaine, attended the event. The event raised $61,000 for the school. Thanks to all who supported it.
