The year 2002 was a busy one for John Angelella and his family. During the summer, John left Speizman Industries in Charlotte, N.C., and headed back home to the Philadelphia area. He secured a new position as executive vice president and chief financial officer at E.P. Henry in Woodbury, N.J. To top it off, the Angelella family also had a new addition! Natalie Marie was born Dec. 9, weighing 8 lbs., 5 oz., and measuring 20 inches long. Marie joins her older brother, C.J.

Sonny Bal and his wife Dana announce the birth of a fourth child, a son, born Nov. 21. His name is Ajeet Singh Bal, and he weighed in at 8 lbs., 2 oz. Ajeet joins his two sisters, ages 7 and 6, and an 18-month-old brother.

Donna Freiberger-Griffin, her husband Kevin and 11 other Griffin family members headed off to Ireland in September for a 10-day visit. While there, in addition to exploring the southwest part of the country, they visited the homesteads of Kevin's four grandparents, all of whom were born and raised in Ireland before heading to the United States in the 1920s. They also had the opportunity to meet numerous cousins on Kevin's side of the family who still reside in Ireland.

On Nov. 22, E-Z-GO announced the promotion of Mark Lamb from manager, future trucks, to director, product planning and engineering. Mark began his career with E-Z-GO in June. The Lamb family has settled into a new home in Evans, Ga., a grouping of new housing subdivisions about 10 miles north and west of Augusta proper and about two hours east of Atlanta.
