1983

Dear classmates: Our 20th Reunion is nearly here! Rick Kiley, Ted Martin, Mark Fuller and Jeff Johnson have been working hard to make Reunion special for the whole class. Please check out the "Who's Coming" list on the Class of 1983 page of the Reunion Web site.

See you all in Evanston in May!

Smart Money magazine has dubbed Joel Tillinghast "The Wizard of Fidelity" in a January article of the same title. According to the magazine, Joel's fund, Low-Priced Stock, has risen an astounding 50 percent over the past three years, making it Fidelity's best-performing fund. Joel buys up the stocks of small companies with market values of less than $2 billion for $35 a share or less. "I find gems that people haven't turned up because they haven't done the work," Tillinghast says in Smart Money.

Ted Martin was recently interviewed by The Wall Street Journal regarding CFO skill requirements. You can find the article featuring Ted online.
