Jack J. Honomichl
’50 has been inducted into the Market Research Council’s
Hall of Fame. |
According
to the American Marketing Association, Honomichl's name "is
synonymous with marketing research," in part, because of a
column he wrote on research industry affairs for 18 years.
The column was first published by Advertising Age,
and later, by Marketing News an AMA publication.
Bob
Huff '51 celebrated his 47th anniversary with a
party. He writes he is still in school, attending Elgin Community
College, where he has a 4.0 grade point average. Bob is also
running for trustee of the college this spring.
Martin
Benjamin '52 wrote in with some words of wisdom
for today's students: "We are currently enjoying our second
home in Fort Myers, Fla. This would not have been possible
without God's guidance and my solid education ó seven years
in night school. I was married in 1947, had a child in 1948
and worked full time for 20 years as an accounting supervisor.
All you new candidates, this takes dedication, hard work ó
and yes ó it is priceless."
Nick
Coates, Roger Dickinson and Chuck Hollingshed,
all '54, attended the Air Force football game in Colorado
Springs recently. They report that while they enjoyed the
game, they didn't like the final score.
Please
contact me with your news and updates! I really want to hear
from you, and so do your classmates. We're working hard to
make our upcoming 50th Reunion the best ever, so please get
involved. Also, note that my address has changed.
