Kellogg Alumni Club of London

Some 60 members of the Kellogg United Kingdom alumni club celebrated Christmas together in London. Dean Jain also attended the festivities, which marked the official launch of the Kellogg School European Alumni Web site.

The Kellogg European Alumni Web site is online. The site is located at http://EuropeAlumni.kellogg.northwestern.edu. It offers information not found on the Kellogg parent site. It is the first pan-European Web site by a business school alumni group. Officially launched Feb. 18, this is one of the branding initiatives to create greater communications, visibility and opportunities. We like to say it’s our own European Union!

The site has public areas, and password-protected areas (database of European alumni, job postings, special e-mail lists). We have links to the parent Web site and have dedicated a page to promoting top business books through an affiliation with Amazon.com We will have greater communications with the student-run European Business Club and GIM Trip.

In other news, the club hosted a GIM cocktail party for the students on March 28.
