Thanks
to everyone who came to Northwestern night at the Brew and
View on Oct. 12. Proceeds went to benefit Northwestern scholarships
and programs. Also, thanks to everyone who joined us at the
joint student/Kellogg Alumni Club of Chicago Holiday Party
at North Beach on December 14! It was great re-connecting
with so many of you. I recall chatting with fellow classmate
Josh Meyer as well, although he was a little camera
shy (just kidding where did you go, Josh?)
If you
didnt hear about these events, that might be because
you dont have your alumni e-mail forwarding address
set up. Go to www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/alumni/eservices.htm
to set this up and sign up for the TMP Class of 2000 listserv.
After
much delay, I finally got together with Barb Borgstrom
last month in Bostons North End restaurant district.
Barb has moved into a great apartment in a great location
in downtown Boston; she can be reached at bborgstrom@yahoo.com.
It was great seeing you and catching up, Barb! Lets
hope its not another six months before we do it again!
Mike
Kamradt
and his wife Tara are having their first child and recently
got a doga Pug named Hazel. Mike has been at A.T. Kearney
for one-and-a-half years and is currently working in the automotive
sector. While Mike enjoys work he admits that Detroit is no
Chicago.
Jimmy
Li
writes that he feels he has made a difference in Intels
continuous profitability during this worst downturn to the
semiconductor industry. Jimmy enjoys the breeze and sunshine
on golf courses while Midwest and New England were under snowstorm.
He pays special attention to keep his lawn green and in good
shape. Jimmy, his wife and two daughters live in Chandler,
Ariz., 20 miles southeast of Phoenix. He can be reached at
480.715.0188 or jimmy.li@intel.com. Its always great
hearing from you Jimmy!

Malia
Mueller, TMP 2000, married Steve Smith last August.

Congratulations
to Malia Mueller who married Steve Smith Aug. 11 in Hawaii!
Malia and Steve are living in California but recently made the
journey back to Chicago to visit with friends. I had the pleasure
of reconnecting with Malia and Steve at lunch downtown. It was
great seeing you both again! Malia, lets hope we have
a little more to cheer about next football season. Stay in touch.
Mike
Perlman
started a new job working for Bradley Marketing Group, a small
marketing consulting and services firm in the northern suburbs
of Chicago. Jennifer Blanchet also works at Bradley,
and Mike writes that its nice to be back working with
Kellogg alumni! Mikes wife Felicia and their 13-month-old
son Samuel are all doing well. Hope to see you soon Mike.
Rich
Riley and his wife Jeanne had the great fortune of having
their first child on Sept. 25. Connor is a very active boy
and keeping mom and dad very active. Theyre enjoying
parenthood and adjusting to life with less sleep. Rich works
for Accenture.

Amy
Shields TMP 2000 married Chris Johnson in September. Several
Kellogg friends joined in the celebration in Kansas City.
|
On Sept.
8, Amy Shields married Chris Johnson in Pittsburg,
Kan. Several of their Kellogg China GIM buddies made the trip
to Oz for the occasion. Pictured from left to right: Brian
and Susie Hoeger (TMP 1999), John Kearney and Cathy Betz (TMP
1999), Jane and Todd Holscher (TMP 1999) and David, Sean and
Lisa Appleby (TMP 1999). Amy and Chris would like to take
this opportunity to thank all of them for the lovely A1 sauce
bottle crafted at the reception using table decorations and
hot wax. It is good to know that if those finance/marketing/consulting
jobs do not work out, an HGTV craft show would provide a viable
career alternative.
Amy and
Chris have settled into their new house in Forest Glen, Ill.,
where Amy continues to work for The Northern Trust Company
as an assistant financial officer in Northern Trust Global
Investments.
Craig
Vercruysse recently joined fellow Kellogg alumni Margie
Chiang 00 and Rose Flynn 92 for a hike in Marin
County, Calif., north of San Francisco.
Sari
Winick
and husband Mark welcomed baby Joshua Fischer Winick into
the world on Oct. 5. In September, Sari made an internal move
at Quaker Oats to be an assistant marketing manager, working
on Quaker Toasted Oatmeal Cereals.
It was
great hearing from all of you this time, keep the updates
coming! Go Cats!
